As a pediatric physical therapist, it is very important to Rachel to provide a holistic approach to care, ensuring the kids she treats are physically, mentally, and emotionally treated. She strives to incorporate play and creativity to best meet patient and family needs and facilitate gross motor development in a fun manner. Rachel enjoys treating patients of all ages and has a background in sports and orthopedics to help with injuries or pain in order to help kids get back to playing.

In 2019, Rachel traveled to Guatemala to assist in providing physical therapy care to families of the Guatemalan community and is eager to return or seek new areas for outreach! She also has completed her capstone on Torticollis and Plagiocephaly prevention and early intervention and additionally, has provided various in-services for basic infant sign-language and pediatric outcome measures.

She played Division I level volleyball at Davidson College, and loves to play in adult leagues and tournaments. You could also likely find her the gym or going to explore and adventure to new places.
