Jenna Beker, M.S. CCC-SLP

Jenna grew up in Greenville, South Carolina and received her B.S. in Hospitality and Tourism Management from Clemson University in 2009. After several years of working in this field, Jenna returned to graduate school to receive her M.S. in Speech-Language Pathology from East Carolina University to fulfill her passion of working with children with developmental delays. Her clinical experience includes various settings, such as pediatric private practice, acute care, inpatient, and schools.  Jenna’s clinical experience includes work in the areas of articulation/phonology, receptive/expressive language, reading/written language, auditory processing, social-emotional development, and feeding/swallowing. She has experience working with a wide variety of diagnoses such as genetic disorders, neurological disorders, sensory processing disorders, autism spectrum disorder, and Down's Syndrome.
Jenna has experience in and has taken continuing education coursework on the use of PECS (picture exchange systems) and Augmentative/Alternative Communication devices (AAC). She also has an interest in and has taken continuing education coursework on LSL Intervention with children between 18-60 months old.
Jenna finds a collaborative, multi-disciplinary approach an essential part to providing treatment.  She has always had a passion for working with pediatrics. She enjoys working directly with children and their family members/care takers in order to help them reach their communication goals and enhance their quality of life.
