Ashley Ayscue, M.S, CF-SLP
Ashley grew up in Roxboro, North Carolina. She received both Bachelor's and Master's degrees from East Carolina University, with her Master's of Science in Speech-Language Pathology. She has had experience with children of all ages with a variety of diagnoses such as Cerebral Palsy, Cleft Lip/Palate, Down Syndrome, Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), childhood apraxia of speech, fluency disorders, phonological processing disorders, and feeding difficulties. Ashley also has experience in a wide variety of settings: hospitals, private practices, and public schools. Within those settings, she has diagnosed and treated clients with cognitive, swallowing, articulation, and language deficits/disorders. She is experienced in using a variety of therapeutic techniques such as PROMPT, Kauffman (KSPP), PECS, SOS Approach to Feeding, CAN-EAT Approach, and Augmentative Alternative Communication (AAC) devices. Ashley has always had a passion for working with pediatrics and strives to create a safe and loving environment where children can be themselves. In her spare time, Ashley loves being anywhere on the water, traveling, and playing with her dog Charlie.
