Missy Brookshire, M.S., CCC-SLP
Missy received a Master's Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from East Carolina University in May 1999. Missy has a passion for working with the pediatric population, serving school-age, preschool and early intervention populations in the public schools and private practice clinics. She has experience with autism spectrum disorder, apraxia, oral-motor delays and feeding issues, as well as articulation and language delays. Missy has a gentle spirit and quickly establishes rapport with children and their families. She offers the family suggestions on ways to incorporate therapy techniques throughout the week and comes up with a 'plan' for the family.
In her spare time, Missy enjoys spending time outdoors with her family, cooking, catching up with friends and reading.
