Christina L. Watson, MT-BC
Christina is a graduate of the University of Kansas, and has a bachelor’s degree in music therapy. Her professors awarded her the E. Thayer Gaston Award of excellence in music therapy upon completion of her coursework. After completing an internship working with adolescents and adults with neurological disorders at The Institute for Rehabilitation and Research in the Houston, Texas Medical Center, Chrissy received her board certification in music therapy (CBMT). Chrissy came to North Carolina in 2007 and has been working with adults with brain injury, children and adolescents with special needs in the Chapel Hill and Durham school districts and adolescents and adults with developmental disabilities. In her down times, Chrissy reads, cross-stitches, watches “Psych” on Hulu, and is incredibly involved in her church and the lives of her friends and family who live close-by.
